Show Your Pride, Ridgebacks

Student Engagement and Equity (SEE) wants you to show your Pride every day in June to celebrate Pride Month. 

Canada’s 2SLGBTQ+ communities have faced both challenges and progress. Discrimination, police raids and arrests inspired protests and marches that eventually grew into Pride celebrations across Canada. This year, Pride Festival Weekend takes place from June 25 to 28 as part of Pride Month and Canada’s larger Pride Season, which runs from June to September. Events will be held across Durham Region and the Greater Toronto Area throughout June.

To get you in the spirit, SEE is running a Daily Pride Challenge for all students and employees to participate in. Each day there will be small actions or learning opportunities you can do to show your support. Prizes will be awarded for participation.
