What is this event about?

Each year we welcome older adults from the community to tour our beautiful campus, learn from our fantastic faculty, and engage with our amazing students. 

When is the event?

The event is taking place on Wednesday October 14th during our fall reading week break. Below is an agenda for the day.

Campus Tours: Visit our facilities or research labs on campus or simply take a walk around campus with one of our students.

Advancement for Dementia Care Centre: Join this event happening on campus to learn about brain health and learn from a panel on Technology-Enabled Care in Long-Term Care.

Focus Group: We are working towards creating a new tool for older adults in Durham Region to support access to local, timely, and reliable information about social and health services and programs. The tool will be integrated with 211. We hope to learn from you about what will be essential for building this tool and for promoting it across Durham Region.
