Lights, Camera, Inclusion: Building Community with Your 2-Minute Welcome Video
Hosted by TLC Instructional Support, this workshop explores how a two-minute welcome video can help shape meaningful first impressions in online learning.
Participants will learn how instructor presence, tone and intentional design can foster connection and belonging from the start of a course. The session will also introduce practical strategies for humanizing online learning and embedding inclusive design through Universal Design for Learning video strategies.
Participants will learn how to create welcoming, accessible content that supports diverse learners without adding unnecessary technical complexity.

This workshop is intended for Ontario Tech instructors, teaching assistants and staff who create or deliver online courses or training.
