Moosehide Campaign Day
Ontario Tech University is proud to be a Moose Hide Campaign Ambassador Campus. The Moose Hide Campaign is a grassroots movement of Indigenous and non-Indigenous Canadians committed to ending violence against women and children.
The Indigenous Education and Cultural Services team, in collaboration with the Student Equity team and the campus library, is honoured to host Moose Hide Campaign Day on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 11 a.m. to noon.
This gathering will open in a good way with a smudge, followed by an Opening and Honour Song shared by invited hand drum singers. Light refreshments will be provided, and guests will be invited to listen to songs, stories, and reflections highlighting the importance of ending gender-based violence and standing together in solidarity.
