TacOps 2026 is Netsoc’s annual Capture-the-Flag cybersecurity event at Ontario Tech University. It brings together internal Ontario Tech teams and external university participants for hands-on challenges in trivia, Linux, open-source intelligence (OSINT), cryptography, web exploitation, lockpicking and more. Designed for all skill levels, the event offers prizes and sponsorship support to keep it accessible and engaging. It mirrors the scale of the previous edition, which featured 300 challenges and nearly 150 participants across 48 teams.
